We charge. We brand. We bring people together...safely.
As we begin to keep events #chargedup again, our team must be cognizant of the possibility to spread COVID-19 to our clients and their guests. Following federal and provincial guidelines regarding proper use of PPE, hand hygiene, staying home when unwell, and continuing our high standards of cleaning the charging equipment is how SOS has committed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Timing: SOS can and will continue to work from home until it is safe for us to rejoin an office environment. Our team will ensure that we process our orders earlier than we previously did, so that should one of our team feels unwell, there will be no pressure for that person to stay home and stay isolated. Adding additional time to our order processing schedule will ensure another team member can step in, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Face Coverings: SOS Leadership will ensure the entire team is educated on proper hand washing, and use of face coverings. We will also ensure that staff has access to face coverings.
Disinfecting: Team SOS will only use approved methods of cleaning all our equipment before they are delivered to our clients.
Using 75% rubbing alcohol, or a solution of ⅓ cup of bleach per gallon of warm water, in a well ventilated room, the best way of killing the COVID-19 virus on hard surfaces.
Social Distancing: We will practice social distancing with our clients and anyone else with whom we interact while processing requests.
At Events: SOS will provide individually packaged 75% alcohol wipes to our clients, at cost, so that their guests may safely use our charging equipment; wiping their hands, their phones, and the charging tip before and after plugging their device in to charge.
When equipment is returned, we will allow it to sit for 3 days to allow any COVID-19 virus on the equipment to die. Disinfecting procedures will be followed prior to replacing the equipment back into the inventory.
